Restaurants where the Celebrity Chef cook for you!

This year marks the first anniversary of Gordon Ramsay’s highly acclaimed restaurant Bread Street Kitchen. Located in the Atlantis on the Palm, this beautifully designed restaurant adds a touch of class to good British cuisine. Last year I was lucky enough to go along to one of their gin events and meet with Gordon himself! The gin was delicious and the company was excellent! The outside area of the restaurant makes you forget you are living in a busy city, with picnic tables, grass and strings of fairy lights; this is a lovely way to spend your evening.

In Dubai we are lucky enough to play host to some of the most famous celebrity chefs from around the world. So if you are looking to indulge in something a little special here are a few recommendations.

Atul Kochhar at Rang Mahal

The Rang Mahal restaurant is a stunning ode to Indian cuisine. Ranging from the adventurous and inventive to traditional fare. With the talented celebrity chef Atul Kochhar at its helm, the Rang Mahal at the JW Marriott Marquis is not to be missed.

Atul Kochhar is famously the first Indian chef to receive a Michelin star and it is truly deserved. The menu is creative and mouth watering with offerings such as lobster Malai curry, baked in Bengali mustard and an interesting Delhi pumpkin mash called Subziaon Kee Kyari. If you are looking for an Indian restaurant to wow your senses then look no further.

Pierre Gagnaire at Reflets

Reflets is led under the expert direction of the three-Michelin-star celebrity chef Pierre Gagnaire. This contemporary French restaurant has an enviable menu, filled with the extraordinary to the divine.

The atmosphere is chic yet classy with pink chandeliers suspended above every table and every table covered with a crisp white tablecloth. The menu reads as traditionally French however, it is anything but, with Foie Gras and juniper berries, pan-fried langoustine rolled in cinnamon breadcrumbs and Dover sole cooked in a grey shrimp infusion. This restaurant will pique your senses and leave you gastronomically satisfied.

Gary Rhodes at Rhodes Twenty 10

Hailing from South London Gary Rhodes is a staple celebrity chef. Achieving great popularity in the UK and receiving huge praise for his restaurants in Dubai, including the unique Theatre by Rhodes where you can enjoy an expertly created menu by a Michelin star chef whilst watching a movie at Mall of the Emirates!

His restaurant Rhodes Twenty 10 is a stylish steakhouse. You can start with a sharing plate of anything from watermelon and halloumi salad to lobster and avocado scrambled eggs. Once you have had your appetite whetted, we recommend you try the steaks! Prime cuts of beef expertly selected for their tenderness and marble score, cooked to perfection on a char grill. This is some seriously good steak!

Of course this is a short list, there are many more celebrity restaurants out there for you to try. So head out and send us your Instagram photos. And you never know you may even be lucky enough to meet with one of the famous chefs!
