Ramadan 2017 – Dubai Restaurants Open During The Day

In Dining to Tell
Open

This year’s Ramadan is here whether you are ready for it or not. Luckily, as in previous years, a few places stay open for breakfast and lunch.

Either as take away, or in a few rare cases, for dining in. This is in addition to hotel coffee shops that will serve breakfast and lunch as normal. Here’s a list of our favourites to make your life easy the coming month!

Common Grounds Mall of the Emirates

Good coffee and sandwiches on offer while hiding away in the AC!

Raw Coffee Al Quoz

One of those days? Raw has some of the best coffee in the UAE, and it’s a no nonsense kind of place to get your mojo back.

Lime Tree all locations

Favourite of favourites Lime Tree is open for take away during Ramadan, from all their locations. Be sure to try to some of their Ramadan cakes, including gluten free options!

Maison Mathis Arabian Ranches Golf Club and Emirates Towers

Pretty Maison Mathis is open for business as usual, and will be a great place to take a break from a busy day.

Reform Social & Grill The Lakes Club

We don’t need to tell you anything about Reform, it’s everything and more you would expect from a British gastropub.

open during ramadan

DIFC

Due to the large number of expats working in the DIFC area, a lot of our business lunch favourites are open for lunch during Ramadan. These include Bazxar, BOCA, Dusty’s, Gaucho, Intersect by Lexus, La Petite Maison, Laluz and The Gramercy.

Baker & Spice Souk al Bahar and Marina Promenade

Lovely Baker & Spice is our rock in rough Ramadan times. Some locations will open for dine in, others only for take away, but they will all be serving their go-to breakfast and lunch options and baking bread as usual.

Aji The Palm

For a more up-market lunch during Ramadan, head to the Palm’s Aji and enjoy amazing fusion cooking.

Bistro des Arts Marina

We are so happy Bistro des Arts is open during Ramadan, for where would we be without a regular Parisian fix?

Circle Café Media City (also open in Abu Dhabi)

A personal favourite, Circle stays open for their clean and healthy choices. I’ll be looking forward to those sweet potato fries!

Clinton St. Baking Company City Walk

Pretend it’s not Ramadan and enjoy your brunch favourites!

Fraiche JLT

All day breakfast keeps going during Ramadan at this cozy JLT place.

Jones the Grocer Dusit Thani (also open in Abu Dhabi)

We’re happy Jones stays open for dining in during Ramadan, so we can enjoy a lunch and coffee outside once in a while, and maybe even have a little cake while we’re at it!
